Skits
Below you can find brief descriptions of short skits I have written for the stage. Please get in contact with me to read any of these, or if you would be interested in putting them on at a stage near you!
Blocks Party
A comedic skit about the fake competitive high stakes world of street “Jenga,” Blocks Party is a parody piece lampooning sports anime, edge lords, and family dramas. When Scott seeks to avenge his father (who “died 21 years ago in a ‘Jenga’ accident), they are pitted head first against their rival: Cull Apse. Can Scott listen to their mentor, Old Man Alder, and pull things together, finding confidence in himself and winning the day? Or will the tower come crumbling down around them as they are too focused on the past? Only the blocks will tell. BLOCKS PARTY is a three person script, with a running time of approximately 15 minutes.

The Breakout Room
The Breakout Room is the first skit I have written for small ensemble theatre. It is perfect for school and other acting groups. The Breakout Room runs about 7 minutes and calls for a cast of 4 people. This scene compares the endless perils of Zooms and Breakout Rooms with the television classic, the Twilight Zone. When Fran wishes to be put in a breakout room with her crush, Chad, she gets her wish. However things start going wrong from there! Between screen freezing, teacher’s interruptions and cat attacks, nothing seems to go right. However at the end of the day, Ron Starling isn’t right, and love prevails.
